Oops! YouTube Is Not Working- How To Fix?

Fix YouTube playback error occurring on your google chrome browser. This happens mostly when you surf on YouTube. Follow the given methods and fix this error easily.

 

Method 1-Close Chrome Using TaskManager:

Look for the “Task Manager” in the search bar located in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Click on the running processes with Task Manager.

Now select “Chrome” from the list of tasks.

Restart “Chrome” and check if YouTube is working.

Method 2- Configure Settings in Chrome:

Open “Chrome”.

Click on “3 dots” located at the upper-right corner.

Select “Settings”.

Click on “Show Advanced Settings” at the bottom of the screen.

Now scroll down to the system section. 

Scroll to “System” section and uncheck “Use hardware acceleration when available”.

Restart “Chrome”.

Method 3- Clear Cache:

Open “Chrome”.

Click on “3 dots” located at the upper-right corner and point on “More tools” option. A further click on “Clear browsing data”.

Make sure that the checkbox located next to “Cookies and other site and plug-in data” and “Cached images and files” is ticked.  

Eradicate the items from the beginning of time to delete all data.

Click “Clear browsing data”.

Restart “Chrome”.
